Sales report

See what you sold and collected over any day or date range, choose the widgets you need, and print or export the figures.

Overview

The sales report shows what you sold and what you collected over any day or date range. It breaks the figures down by catalogue item, payment method, team member and customer, so you can review performance, spot your top spenders or send numbers to your accountant. Go to reports → Sales. On the reports page, this is the All sales section of the Sales report card.

Check your sales for a day or period

  1. Go to reports → Sales.
  2. Choose day for a single day or Range for a period.
  3. Pick your dates in the date picker at the top of the page.
  4. Wait for the report to load. Ranges longer than 2 months take longer.
  5. Review the widgets. By default they show sales highlights, payment method breakdowns and customer data.
  6. To narrow the figures, filter by payment method, category or another criterion.

For today's totals when closing the till, see End of day.

Choose which widgets you see

  1. Open the three dots menu and select Edit layout.
  2. Tap Add widget and choose the chart or table you want, for example Sales by catalogue item (Item, Qty and Sales in RM) or Sales by catalogue item in bar chart.
  3. Tap Done when the layout looks right.
  1. Open the three dots menu.
  2. Select Print report for a printable copy, or Export XLSX to download a spreadsheet.

The XLSX file contains all the sales data for your selected period and is formatted for importing into accounting software.

How it's calculated

The report shows two main totals:

  • Sales is the total value of services and products sold.
  • Collection is the money you actually received. It leaves out payments made from customer balance and credit redemptions.

Example: Aisyah Rahman has a RM 200 facial. She pays RM 50 from her customer balance and RM 150 by card.

  • Sales: RM 200
  • Collection: RM 150 (RM 200 minus the RM 50 paid from balance)

Changes in liabilities tracks money customers store with you: balance top-ups, credit purchases and deposits, minus what they use for payments. Aisyah's RM 50 balance payment lowers what you hold for her by RM 50.

FAQs

Why is Collection lower than Sales?

Collection only counts money actually received. Payments from customer balance and credit redemptions count towards Sales but not Collection. In the example above, Aisyah's RM 200 facial adds RM 200 to Sales and RM 150 to Collection.

Why can't I see individual payments for a long date range?

Reports covering more than 2 months show combined figures only, so the payment list is hidden. Totals are still accurate. Choose a shorter range to see each payment.

The report failed to load. What should I do?

Select a smaller date range, or use Export XLSX from the three dots menu instead.

Can I see sales and commission per team member?

Yes. Add the widget showing sales by team member to see total sales and commission earned by each team member in the selected period. For full commission details, see Commissions report.

Why can't I see the sales report?

The reports you see depend on your role. Team members may only see their own commission reports, while managers see all business reports. Ask your manager if you need access.

Can I check today's sales to close the till?

Use End of day instead. It is fixed to today and shows cash received by payment method for reconciling your register. See End of day.
