Getting started

Create your account

Sign up for Bookit, confirm your email and set up your business and first branch.

Overview

Create a Bookit account when you are setting up Bookit for your own business. You sign up with your email, confirm it with a 6-digit code, then Bookit walks you through your business details and your first branch. If your employer already uses Bookit, do not create a new account: join their business with the invitation they sent you instead.

Sign up for Bookit

  1. Go to www.adminbookit.com/signup in your browser, or open the Bookit app on Android and tap New user? Sign up.
  2. Enter your First name, Last name, Email and Phone number.
  3. Enter a Password and type it again in Confirm password. It needs at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character.
  4. Tap Sign up.

To skip the password, tap Continue with Google instead and choose your Google account. See Sign-in methods for how Google sign-in works.

Confirm your email

  1. Check your inbox for an email from Bookit with a 6-digit verification code.
  2. On the Confirm your email screen, enter the code.
  3. Tap Confirm email.

If the code does not arrive, check your spam or junk folder. You can tap Resend code after the countdown ends.

Set up your business and first branch

After you confirm your email, Bookit opens Get started with Bookit.

  1. Choose Create my business. This starts your free trial, with nothing to pay.
  2. Under Tell us about your business, enter your Business name, choose your Business type, Country and Time zone, and add your Business contact number.
  3. Tap Continue.
  4. Under Set up your branch, enter a Branch name and your branch address. Leave the branch name blank if you only have one branch.
  5. Optional: paste a Google Maps link into Navigation link so customers get directions in one tap.
  6. Tap Continue, or Skip to do this later.
  7. Under Try it with your team (called Invite your team once you are on a paid plan), enter your team members' email addresses, separated by commas, and tap Send invite. You can also leave this until later.
  8. Tap Finish setup.

Bookit then shows your setup checklist with the next things to do.

Join your team's business instead

If you work for a business that already uses Bookit, ask the owner or an admin to invite you from Team. You then have two ways in:

  • Open the invitation email and follow the link. Fill in your name and password, tap Sign up, then confirm your email.
  • Or, when you sign up yourself, tap Have an invitation code? and enter the 6-digit code they shared. After you confirm your email, Bookit adds you to their business.

If you are already signed in without a business, choose Join existing business on the Get started with Bookit screen, enter the 6-digit Join code and tap Join.

FAQs

It says an account with this email already exists

You already have a Bookit account with that email. Log in instead, or use Forget password ? on the login screen if you do not remember the password. See Sign-in methods.

I never received the verification code

Check your spam or junk folder and mark the Bookit email as "Not spam" so future codes reach your inbox. Then tap Resend code. If it still does not arrive, contact Bookit support.

Can I sign up with my phone number?

No. Your phone number is saved on your account, but you sign up and log in with your email address.

Do I pay anything to sign up?

No. Creating your business starts your free trial. When the trial ends, you choose a paid plan. See Plans and billing.

Can I add more branches later?

Yes. Add, edit or remove branches in settings → branches. See Business and branches.
