Miniprogram
Miniprogram Pro
Let customers sign in to your miniprogram with their phone number to see their bookings, packages, vouchers and receipts themselves.
Overview
Miniprogram Pro is a paid add-on that lets your customers sign in to your miniprogram with their phone number. Once signed in, they can check their own bookings, packages, vouchers and receipts instead of messaging you to ask. It also unlocks the Login page and Member profile page in the miniprogram editor, and tracking with your own Meta Pixel and Google tag. Pro is priced per branch and added to your subscription like any other add-on.
Add Miniprogram Pro to your subscription
- Go to Settings → Miniprogram and open Customise.
- Choose the Login page or Member profile page. Both carry a Pro badge until you have Pro.
- Select Upgrade to Pro. Bookit opens the add-ons for your current plan.
- Turn on Miniprogram Pro, check the add-ons subtotal, and complete the payment.
You can also add it from the add-ons on your subscription. If Upgrade to Pro opens your plan options instead, choose a plan first, then add Pro.
What your customers get
When Pro is on, your miniprogram opens on a login page. Customers enter their phone number, receive a 6-digit code by WhatsApp or SMS, and sign in. There is no password and nothing to install.
Once signed in, a customer's profile shows:
- their points, credits and balance at the top
- My bookings: upcoming and past bookings, with a QR for each booking
- My packages: packages and credits they own, and what is remaining
- My vouchers: vouchers they can redeem, and expired or used ones
- My receipts: their payments, with a receipt to download
- My notes: notes you have chosen to share with them
- Membership QR: a QR code they show your team at the counter
- Edit details: their name, email and birthday. Their phone number cannot be changed.
One sign-in covers every branch of your business. It does not carry over to other businesses on Bookit.
Let customers browse without signing in
By default, customers can skip the login page and keep browsing and booking.
- Go to Settings → Miniprogram and open Customise.
- Choose the Login page.
- Under Page settings, turn Allow guest access on or off.
- Select Save.
With Allow guest access on, the login page shows Continue as guest. With it off, customers must sign in before they can use your miniprogram.
Share a note with a customer
With Pro, each customer note can be Public or Private. Public notes appear under My notes in the customer's profile, so you can share aftercare instructions or treatment details. Private notes stay inside Bookit.
Open the customer's Customer details, add or open a note, and set it to Public. Without Pro, every note is private and the choice is hidden.
Track your miniprogram with your own ads tools
- Go to Settings → Miniprogram → Tracking.
- Enter your Meta Pixel ID, your Google tag ID, or both.
- Select Save.
Your tracking code then runs on your miniprogram, so your ads can report on visits and bookings.
FAQs
What happens if a customer signs in with a phone number you do not have?
They are asked to join your business first. Once they tap Join, their profile opens.
A customer changed their name in their profile. Does it change in Bookit?
No. The name you saved for the customer stays as it is in Bookit. The name they choose only shows to them on your miniprogram.
Why do customers arriving from Google not see the login page?
If you use Reserve with Google, customers browse as guests by default. Google does not allow a login wall before booking, so Bookit skips it for those businesses. Customers can still sign in from the Login button.
Can I edit the Login page and Member profile page without Pro?
You can preview them, but they stay read-only until you add Pro.
Do customers need to download an app?
No. Customers sign in on your miniprogram in their phone's browser.
