Checkout
Receipts and e-receipts
Choose the header, notes, terms and customer details that appear on the printed and emailed receipts customers get after checkout.
Overview
Use receipt settings to control what customers see on the receipt they get after checkout: your own header, a thank you message, policies, terms and which customer details are printed. Find them in settings → Checkout → Receipt. Your changes apply to both printed and emailed receipts.

FAQs
What's the difference between default notes and the thank you message?
Use Default notes for business policies, such as "All goods sold are non-refundable". Use Thank you message for a more personal greeting to the customer.
What shows at the top if I leave the receipt header empty?
Bookit uses a default header text.
Which customer details should I include?
It depends on your business. Most businesses show the customer name and phone number. Balance and reward points are useful if you run a loyalty programme, and active packages help customers see what they have left.
Do these settings change emailed receipts too?
Yes. The same settings apply to every receipt format your customers receive, printed or emailed.
Why haven't my changes appeared on the receipt?
Check that you selected Save. If Unsaved changes is still showing at the bottom of the screen, your edits have not been applied yet.
