Miniprogram
Hide prices
Let customers browse and book on your miniprogram without seeing any prices, for businesses that quote after a consultation.
Overview
Use Hide prices when you do not want prices on your miniprogram, for example because you quote each customer after a consultation. With it turned on, customers can still browse your services and book, but no price appears while they do. It is one switch for your whole business, under Settings → Miniprogram → Online booking experience.
Take prices off your miniprogram
- Go to Settings → Miniprogram → Online booking experience.
- In Online booking settings, tick Hide prices.
- Select Save.
Your miniprogram updates as soon as you save. To show prices again, untick Hide prices and save.
Hide prices works even when Disable online booking is ticked, so you can also use it on a miniprogram that only shows your catalogue.
What customers see
With Hide prices on, prices are removed from:
- the service list, service details and service options
- class cards and class pages
- the cart and the total on the review step
- the booking confirmation and the booking details
- the bookings a signed-in customer sees in their profile
A percentage discount badge, such as -10%, still shows because it does not reveal a price. A discount shown as an amount, such as -RM 50, is hidden.
When customers still see an amount
So if you hide prices and also ask for a deposit online, customers browse with no prices and then see the deposit amount when they pay.
FAQs
Can I hide the price of just one service?
No. Hide prices covers your whole business, so it hides every price on your miniprogram at once.
Do my team still see prices in Bookit?
Yes. Hide prices only changes your miniprogram. Prices at checkout, on appointments and in reports are not affected.
Does hiding prices stop customers booking?
No. Customers can still choose services and book as normal. To stop online bookings, tick Disable online booking instead.
Why did a customer see a price at checkout?
Your online payment is on. The payment step always shows the amount the customer is paying, even with Hide prices turned on.
