Setup checklist

Overview

The setup checklist lists the things to do so your business is ready to take bookings and payments. Owners and organisation admins see the steps that set up the business. Team members who joined an existing business see a shorter list of what to try on their first day. You find it in Getting started, on the Getting started guide card on your dashboard, and in settings → Business → Onboarding.

If you joined a business someone else set up, your checklist is under Getting started and has four steps:

Run the guided setup again

The guided setup walks you through your business details, your branch and inviting your team, one screen at a time.

You can also open it from settings → Business → Onboarding.

FAQs

How do I hide the checklist?

On the Getting started page, tap I'll explore on my own. On the dashboard card, use Hide onboarding. You can still open the checklist later from settings → Business → Onboarding.

Why don't I see a checklist?

The badge and dashboard card only appear for businesses created after the checklist was introduced in May 2026, and disappear once you hide them. You can still open the checklist from settings → Business → Onboarding.

Why is my list different from the owner's?

The list depends on your role. Owners and organisation admins set up the business. Team members get steps for the work they do every day, such as the calendar and checkout.
