Team member permissions

Overview

Permissions let you decide what each team member can see in Bookit, for example letting them check out customers without showing them commission amounts or business reports. You set them per team member under Team → select the team member → Organisation access. Changes apply to that team member only.

Hide commission from a team member

Use this when a team member, such as Aina, should process sales but not see commission values or business-wide reports.

Setting All payments to View lets Aina see payment details without the commission breakdown. Setting both reporting options to No access hides overall reports, so she cannot see business-wide commission data, nor her own reports.

Check what the team member sees

After you save, Aina can still select services during checkout and add her name to the sale. On the payment details page, she appears as the service provider, but no commission amounts are shown.

FAQs

Can a team member still check out customers if I hide commission?

Yes. They can complete checkouts and serve customers as normal. They just will not see commission values.

Can a team member see payments but not commission?

Yes. Set All payments to View and leave View commission values unticked. They will see payment details without commission amounts.

Why can my team member still see their name on a sale?

That is expected. Their name shows as the service provider on the payment details page so the sale is credited correctly. Only the commission amount is hidden.

Why can't my team member open any reports?

Team member's own reporting and All reporting are set to No access. Change these under Team → select the team member → Organisation access, then tap Save.
