Export lists to CSV
Download your customers, services, commission patterns, expenses and other lists as a CSV file you can open in Excel or Google Sheets.
Overview
Use Download selected and Download all when you want a list from Bookit in a spreadsheet, for example your customer list for a mailing, your service price list, or your expenses for your accountant. Both options sit in the ⋯ (more) menu at the top of the list. Bookit saves a CSV file with one column for each column of the list, which you can open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
You can download from these lists:

Download your whole list
In this example, you download every customer to send to your accountant.
- Go to Customers.
- Optional: use the search box or Show filters to narrow the list first.
- Click the ⋯ (more) button at the top of the list.
- Click Download all.
- Wait for the download to finish. For a long customer list, Bookit shows Fetching all items while it gathers every customer, then Export completed with the number of items.
- Open the CSV file from your downloads folder.
On the Bookit phone app, the share sheet opens instead, so you can save the file or send it on.
Download only some rows
- Open the list, for example Catalogues → Services.
- Tick the checkbox next to each row you want, for example your three facial services.
- Click the ⋯ (more) button.
- Click Download selected.
Download selected stays greyed out until you tick at least one row.
What's in the file
Each column in the list becomes a column in the CSV, with the same heading. For example, a customer export includes Name, Reference, Email, Phone number, Gender, Birthday, Signed up date, Tags, Birthday month, Credit, Balance, Lifetime value, Last payment date, Reward points, Note, Last booking date and Last updated at, plus a column for each customer custom field. A column with nothing to export shows a dash (-).
FAQs
Why can't I see Download all on the customer list?
Downloading customers is only for business admins. If you are not an admin, the download options are hidden on Customers. Ask your business owner to export the list for you.
Why are the download options greyed out on my catalogue?
On Catalogues lists, you need permission to edit that catalogue to download it. Download all is also greyed out when the list is empty, for example when a filter matches nothing. See Team member permissions.
Does the file follow my filters?
On catalogue lists and Customers, yes: Download all exports what matches your current search and filters. Clear the filters first if you want everything.
Can I export my sales and payments?
Sales and payments live in reports, not in these lists. See Sales report and Payments report.
Can I upload the file back into Bookit?
The CSV is an export, not an import file. To bring customers, services or products into Bookit in bulk, use Bulk upload in the same ⋯ menu, which takes you to data migration.
