Commission report
See how much commission each team member earned from services and sales over any date range, and export it for payroll.
Overview
Use the commission report to see how much commission each team member earned from services and sales over a date range, for example when you work out monthly payouts. You can view totals per team member, check commission on each payment, or see which items earn the most. Find it under reports, in the member commissions report.
Check how much each team member earned
- Go to reports and open the member commissions report.
- Choose a single Date or a Range at the top.
- Open the tab that groups commission by team member.
- Review each team member's total commission, total sales, service count and sales count.
- Check the summary card for Total comms, Total sales and Total sales count across everyone.
You cannot filter by team member in this tab, because the data is already grouped by team member.
Check commission on each payment
Use this to audit individual transactions and see how commission was worked out.
- In the member commissions report, set your Date or Range.
- Tap the by payment tab.
- Tap Show filters and choose a team member, such as Janice, or an item type to narrow the list.
- Review the payment ID, payment date, customer, booking and purpose for each transaction, along with its commission breakdown.
See which services and products earn the most commission
- In the member commissions report, set your Date or Range.
- Tap the by catalogue items tab.
- Tap Show filters to narrow by team member or item type: services, products, packages or top-ups.
Export the report for payroll
- Open the tab that groups commission by team member and set the period you are paying for.
- Tap the dropdown arrow next to the export option.
- Choose Export as CSV to use the figures in your payroll system, or Download PDF for a printable copy.
Check commission on a single payment
You can also see who earned commission on one payment without opening the report. You need an admin account for this.
- Go to payments.
- Tap the payment, for example jvxUq2505230006.
- Scroll to Combined commission payouts.
- Tap All, Sales or Services to filter by category.
- Check each team member's amount, such as Janice RM 20.00 under Services, and the Total at the bottom.
The Team member and commission details section on the same payment shows the commission pattern applied, for example "Staff comms by services and sales", and which team members are included.
How it's calculated
- Only sales with commission assigned to a team member are counted. Sales with no commission assignment do not appear in this report.
- Total sales is worked out proportionally, based on how commission is assigned on each sale.
- Service commission comes from performing treatments. Sales commission comes from selling retail products.
Example: Janice performs a service on payment jvxUq2505230006 and is assigned RM 20.00 service commission. On the payment, Combined commission payouts shows Janice RM 20.00 under Services and a Total of RM 20.00. In the commission report for that date, Janice's commission includes RM 20.00 from this payment, and the payment appears under her name in the by payment tab.
FAQs
Why don't I see all my sales in the total?
Only sales with commission assigned to a team member are included. Sales without a commission assignment are left out of this report, so totals can be lower than in the Sales report.
Can team members see each other's commission?
No. Team members with permission to view only their own reports see only their own commission in this report. Team member accounts cannot see commission details on payments at all; only admin accounts can.
Why can't I filter by team member?
Filtering by team member is turned off in the tab that groups by team member, because each row is already one team member. Switch to by payment or by catalogue items to filter by name.
What's the difference between service and sales commission?
Service commission is earned by performing treatments. Sales commission is earned by selling retail products.
How do I work out payouts from this report?
Set the period you are paying for, open the tab that groups by team member to see each person's total, then use Export as CSV to bring the figures into your payroll system.
