Label printer
Pair a Niimbot label printer and print barcode labels for your products, so you can scan them straight into the cart.
Overview
Use a Niimbot label printer to print small barcode labels for the products you sell. Stick a label on each item, then scan it at checkout to add it to the cart. Each label shows the product name and a barcode of the product's Reference, and can also show the price and the reference as text. You pair the printer in settings → Devices, and print from the Barcode & QR card on a product.
Check your printer and device
Bookit works with Niimbot label printers over Bluetooth, including the D110, D101, D11_H, B1, B21, B2_PRO, B4, M2_H and M3. Bookit recognises the printer from its Bluetooth name.

Pair the label printer
- Switch the printer on and keep it near your device.
- If the official NIIMBOT app is open on your phone and connected to the printer, close it. The printer accepts one connection at a time.
- In Bookit, go to settings → Devices.
- Under Bluetooth devices, tap Add and choose your printer from the list. If it is not listed, tap Can't find your device? Show all nearby Bluetooth devices.
- The printer appears with a label icon and a Beta badge.
Choose what goes on the label
- In settings → Devices, tap the label printer to open Edit device.
- Optional: give it a Label, such as Front counter printer.
- Under Printing preference, choose the Label size that matches the roll in the printer.
- Tick what to print: Show product name, Show barcode, Show price and Show reference text. Name and barcode are on by default.
- Choose a Barcode bar width: Thin or Normal.
- Under Test print, tap Test to print a sample label, then tap Done.
The label sizes on offer depend on the model. For example, the D110 takes 14 × 30 mm, 15 × 40 mm and 20 × 30 mm labels.
Print a label for a product
- Go to Catalogues → Products and open the product.
- Make sure the product has a Reference. If it does not, edit the product and tap Generate reference, or type your own.
- On the Barcode & QR card, tap the print icon (Print label).
- Bookit prints one label. Tap again for each extra copy.
You can also print from the product's edit page: open the menu in the header and choose Print label. This option is greyed out until the product has a Reference.
FAQs
What does the barcode contain?
The product's Reference. If you scan the label at checkout, Bookit finds the product by that reference and adds it to the cart.
Why doesn't the price print?
Turn on Show price for the printer in settings → Devices. The price only prints for products with a fixed price.
Can I print labels for services or packages?
The Barcode & QR card also appears on saved services, packages, classes, vouchers and discounts, and you can print from there. Their labels never show a price.
Is the QR code printed on the label?
No. The label only carries a barcode. The QR code shows on screen in the QR tab of the Barcode & QR card.
Can I print several copies at once?
Not yet. Each tap prints one label.
I see "No label printer connected"
Bookit cannot find a paired label printer. Tap Add device in the message, or go to settings → Devices and pair the printer.
The printer will not connect
Make sure the printer is switched on and nearby, close the official NIIMBOT app if it is connected to the printer, then turn the printer off and on and try again.
Can I print labels from my iPhone or iPad?
Yes, in the Bookit app. Browsers on iPhone and iPad cannot connect to Bluetooth printers.
